What a week it has been, well I would have to say the highlight of my week was definitely MLC this past friday, I am just so grateful to be serving in such an amazing mission with such outstanding leaders! This mission has truly grown within the time that I have served here and the Lord is pouring out great blessings because of the obedience of his servants. OBEDIENCE will always bring forth the great blessings of heaven, when we look at the example of Nephi being obedient to the commandments of the Lord because he knew that the Lord would never give a commandment unless he is preparing a way for each and every one of US! Especially as a missionary, we are given mission rules that we are expected to follow, and in doing so will bring forth heavenly blessings that lead to miracles in the field! I have witnessed it and will witness it even greater as I hold to the rod of iron throughout my life.
Today I just received news that missionaries can now call home to families each preparation day! Wow what a great change for the missionaries, I almost couldn't believe it once I found out! It just shows the trust that the Lord has with his missionaries.
This week Elder Maigwa and I have really worked in our area to prepare ourselves for the upcoming exchanges that we will hold with some of the Elders in the zone, we have currently been preparing a few people for baptism and they are progressing greatly! we just can never find the time to meet with them because they are so busy traveling all the time, but we are thankful that we at least are able to help them progress in the gospel even with the time that the Lord has blessed us with.
We are so excited and surely preparing ourselves spiritually for this upcoming transfer... we will have a mission tour with Elder Nash on the 5th of March! I am so happy that I get the opportunity to hear from him once again, the mission is truly going to be blessed with the things that we will learn from a General Authority of the Lord.
