Elder Mease Week 95

Hey friends and family, Elder Mease here.. This has been quite the transfer that I have spent here in Elmina, the time has come that my very next transfer will be my transfer home. My companion Elder Sivert has been transferred to a new area, so I will receive a new companion to take his place. Its sad to see such an amazing companion go within such a short period of time.. but its all part of the work. Missionary work has really been something that will most definitely be with me the rest of my life, this 2 year experience has touched the innermost part of my soul and has given me the greatest feeling of peace and comfort.
The Atonement of Christ is real, and there is no greater feeling of love than to share his Gospel with others that it may take effect into their lives just as it has taken place into my heart.
With the time that God has blessed me with this last transfer, is the time to hold nothing back and finish with everything that I have. I will do everything in my power to claim all of those blessing that are in store for those who are diligent and faithful in keeping his commandments.. I am fully aware that as a missionary I am given many commandments/rules to follow for both my physical and spiritual safety. Through experience as a missionary these rules and regulations are for the protection of the missionaries and for personal growth as a missionary, if they are followed. The Lord is looking to bless all of his children who come unto him and keep his commandments, even if they don't completely understand them.
This week Elder Sivert and I were blessed with two souls that have recently been brought unto Christ this past Saturday and have put themselves in a covenant with their heavenly father, a covenant that will bless every aspect of their lives if they are to fulfill their part of the agreement. Brother Anthony and brother Great have touched my heart this past transfer, their dedication and desire to follow the Lord Jesus Christ has just brought the sweetest feeling of JOY towards both me and them. As they were both confirmed as members this past Sunday, I witnessed of the redeeming love of Christ and the fruits of the spirit take place into their lives. Brother Great was so excited he just wanted to take a bunch of pictures so he can "remember this wonderful day," (something he actually said.)
I am so happy, and I know that this feeling can be much greater if I am to continue to follow my Lord and savior and his Gospel, that this happiness that I am experiencing will turn into a fulness of joy! I love and wish you all the best week, thanks for everything.
Love, Elder Mease
