Elder Mease Week 83
Hello everyone,
This week was spectacular, we truly experienced trials and blessings all around! Elder Maigwa and I are truly doing all we can in Yamoransa to bring more souls to Christ, there of course are great challenges that we have to face in effort to involve the members but we are surely doing all that we can! We tried focusing on working specifically with the members this week to see if we can work with them in finding more people to teach and we were not as successful as we would like to be but the Lord is sure fine tuning us to becoming more valiant disciples.
We received transfer news this last Saturday and I am happy to say that I will be with Elder Maigwa for another transfer! He sure is a great elder and I am sure learning a lot from him, we are excited to press forward and continue working in our area that the Lord has consecrated for us. Recently I have been contemplating on if I will finish my mission as a Zone Leader or not, I trust that where the Lord places me or even keeps me is the right place for me to be :)
These upcoming weeks, we are hoping to have baptisms down the road and we are faithful that the Lord will place his elect children before us throughout this transfer... the ward is just great! A few of our recent converts are now preparing to receive the Aaronic priesthood which just brings joy to the both of us!!!
Recently I have been studying about the sons of Mosiah and their missionary journeys in the book of Alma and I am just inspired by their faithfulness in bringing their Lamanite bretheren to the knowledge of the Gospel. Before they departed from one another on their journey, the Lord said to them in Alma 17:11 "Go forth among the Lamanites, thy bretheren, and establish my word; yet ye shall be patient in long-suffering and afflictions, that ye may show forth good examples unto them in me, and I will make an instrument of thee in my hands unto the salvation of many souls." So the Lord is surely making us instruments in his hands as we set an example towards the members in our unit and continually establish a relationship with them in their missionary efforts, that we may work together in the Lords hands unto the salvation of many souls!
I love reading about the sons of Mosiah and their ministry, there is no sweeter joy than sharing the gospel and bringing souls unto christ!
My prayers go out to each of you as you continue to minister towards one another and lifting each other towards Christ! Love you all and wish you the best week.
