Elder Mease Week 61
hey family and friends!!!
this week was just awesome! me and elder effiong have truly been experiencing miracles in our area, the struggle we have had recently is getting our investigators to come to church due to the long travel from there homes. just recently we have met with our branch president and he was telling us that the branch should open up around october time which we are very excited for!! the sacrament attendance this week was 62 which is a lot lower than the usual numbers which was a surprise to us missionaries in the branch, but we have no idea what the reason was.
this week me and elder effiong have just worked and worked, one of our investigators by the name of sister vivian has been learning with us for a few weeks now and a few days back she wanted us to come and teach her family, so she referred us to all of her friends and family who would be interested in hearing this wonderful message and it turned our to be around 8 different people she introduced us to and helped us teach them! It truly was such a neat experience teaching and introducing this gospel to all of them. throughout the week we have most definitely experienced some trials, but with the high expectations that we have for this area we know the trials that turn in our way end up becoming miracles in the work.
my companion elder effiong is a wonderful elder and it has been awesome getting to know him so far these past few weeks, he really loves the work and it is so nice to work with him in the area. we have really established unity in this companionship and have had some spiritual experiences that will never be forgotten.
i experienced a great exchange with one of the elders in the district named elder pietsch. We had a powerful exchange and learned so much from one another, i am grateful for his hard work ethic and his love for the work. i have a lot of high expectations for the tarkwa district, we have so much potential in making the work progress in our areas through our faith in the lord jesus christ and our motivation in his work. i appreciate the time that i have had on exchanges with different missionaries, learning from each and every one of them and learning more about the progress in their areas.
