Mease Week 37

This week went by too fast!!! Still cant believe the way time works on the mission, its a lot different than it is at home ill tell  you that! lol anyways, what a great week it was this week! except the fact that i was proselyting with a fever on tuesday wasnt too fun at all! but no need to worry im a lot better now i think its just because i wasn't drinking enough water out in this hot sun!

so my first district meeting was on tuesday and I had fun instructing the meeting as well as teaching my district a few pointers on missionary work! I instructed on seeking and loving the savior and how we should seek for him on the mission! I feel like seeking the savior is something that I won't do just on my mission but for the rest of my life! a scripture that I really like that tells us we should seek for the savior is Ether 12:41! This scripture has a powerful effect on me when I read it as if the savior is right by my side every step of the way as I do his work and help others to find his gospel.

this week I had the opportunity to do an exchange with one of the elders in my district named elder yablonovsky who is a super sweet guy and i enjoyed working with him very much! he is super sweet and loves people! me and him have a ton of similarities so we had a good time working with each other!

on friday the achiase apartment in my district caught fire and half of the house burnt down! no need to worry though everyone is okay! so we are very happy about that and two of the elders from that apartment have now moved to ours safe and sound! I was really freaking out when the elders called me telling me what had happened! but from here on out, I think the missionaries will just be staying with us which I'm pretty excited for due to the fact that they are sweet elders.

and on sunday we baptized brother YAW!!! man it was such an awesome baptism and I was honored given the chance to be the one to baptize him! and like I said before he told me once he was baptized that he wants his family to experience the same as he did but that he wanted to be the one to do it! my heart just filled with joy when I heard him say that! just how happy this gospel has made him that he wants his family to also partake of the tree of life! truly yaw has a strong testimony of this church and I am so blessed to be able to be the one to lead him closer to his brother jesus christ and bring him closer to his heavenly father!
