Elder Mease Week 35

good to be back with all of you again, but 

anyways just yesterday we had a 

BAPTISM!! Sister Selina was baptized 

the other day and it was awesome! We 

weren’t able to baptize brother arhin 

because we feel like hes just not ready 

yet for baptism, so me and elder quist 

thought it would be best for him that we 

wait a week or so!:) 

Also, I just got news on Saturday that I 

will be the new DISTRICT LEADER of the 

assin achiase district! I cannot believe 

that my mission is already going by this 

fast! 

lol I was a little nervous when I got the 

call from president but I know that this

 calling will work me harder than I’ve ever

 worked before so far on my mission! 

Since transfers have arrived pretty much 

our entire district is being transferred! 

believe it or not I am receiving a NEW 

COMPANION! Me and elder quist were 

only together for one transfer and I was 

so bummed out to see him leaving 

already! This transfer probably flew by 

the fastest out of all of them! So I got a lot 

on my shoulders this coming week… new 

companion, and district leader 

responsibilities:) what a blessing it is how 

much I have been learning on my 

mission!

The entire branch was so sad to hear that 

elder quist is going and they honestly 

couldn’t believe it because he has only 

been here for just a few months! I guess 

that president has a responsibility for him 

elsewhere and that’s why he is going.

  Working with elder quist has been 

sweet, and it really is too bad that it was

 only for one transfer! 

I just hope that the new changes to not 

only the district but the apartment will be 

a good change! Every person in our 

district will be receiving a new 

companion lol soo I’m looking forward to 

how it is going to end up! 

The mission used to tell everyone who 

their new companion would be when 

transfers would be announced but they 

have changed how they do everything 

and decided that they will just tell you if 

you are leaving or not.. so the next 3 days 

you just wonder where president will

send you and who you’re new companion 

will be! Which is a little nerve racking to 

be honest.

This week we extended a few baptismal 

dates to a few of our investigators who 

seem to be progressing very well, so 

there are some wonderful people who are 

lined up for my brand new companion 

YAY. Other than that nothing much has 

happened this week other than just 

normal missionary work but I will let you 

all know how the new changes go next 

week:) I love you all and hope the rest of
