Elder Mease Week 26
Hello everybody!! what an amazing week this has been! I just want to say a few things cause I don't have a lot of time! but I just want to say that this week was amazing!! I feel like it went by way to fast though! but anyways this week our pday was on a Tuesday which was weird so sorry to those who have been trying to email me and I haven't responded! this week was powerful with our teaching! but throughout the week I came to find out that our beloved prophet Thomas S. Monson passed away and I was extremely sad to hear about that! I couldn't believe it when I found out but it crushed me when I did:( i know that he is in a better place and I am so blessed that I know God's plan for each and every one of us! the plan of salvation is truly a blessing in my life and I am so grateful to know and be able to teach this plan to others!
this week has been the usual with proselyting! but we have had a few new investigators that we have started teaching who really know a lot about their savior! but they have a hard time finding their way to church because they are devoted Catholics! Hopefully they will be able to come next week but I am really trying to get them coming! they seem very interested when we teach them which is very good!
just yesterday my recent convert Emmanuel jumped up and shared his testimony with the ward! I started to tear up a little seeing how much is testimony has grown in the church! it is so amazing how much this gospel can change a person's life and on top of that bring them closer to their savior! emmanuel is doing so well and he really loves the gospel! hearing his testimony was powerful and I was so proud seeing how much change he has experienced in just these last few months!
I love this mission and I love Ghana! there are days when I miss the snow because it is sooo hot here! but its completely normal! soon the rainy season will come again and that will be nice! love you all so much! I hope you all have a wonderful week this week...love you!
