Elder Mease Week 25
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
man I can't believe it! it's already 2018! I have been on a mission for 6 months now its crazy to think about! I wasn't able to email last week because I called home but the last few weeks have been amazing! calling my family was one of the hardest things I've done but it was soo good to finally see them again! the mission is soo good! I couldn't have asked for a better mission than this place it really is treating me well so dont you all worry! they really dont celebrate Christmas much here which is sad but they really know how to enjoy new years! they have parades and everything it's awesome!!
last week before Christmas I had an amazing Christmas gift in Ghana with two baptisms! emmanuel and josiah got baptized and it was so neat to see how much they have changed in just the past week! I can see the light in their life much brighter than I did when I first met them! mission president was even at the baptism so it was a pretty neat experience to have him and his wife there also! these weeks are flying by super fast and its just way insane how time is flying! I even enjoyed a nice Christmas lunch with president also just because I live so close to the mission home!
I really hope you all had an amazing holiday season! even though its a lot different here in Ghana it was still nice seeing the way they celebrate their holidays! I miss the snow more than anything right now but it just seems like the weather stays the same all year which is pretty boring if you ask me... but just know that I am doing okay and that I love you and miss you all so much! HAPPY 2018
