Week 20

hey everyone I'm missin you more and more every day! this week has been a tough one! we got 2 new investigators so that was good and me and my new companion are getting along with one another much better! his English is coming along super good and I'm way proud of him! the work here in nkanfoa is slowly getting better as well! some of the people we are teaching are doing great and love learning with us but some of the others just don't want anything to do with us so they will just tell us to leave them alone!

thanksgiving was this week and I hope you all enjoyed it! the first Thanksgiving away from the family was a little bit different but the senior couple in the mission made me and my apartment a nice Thanksgiving lunch that we all enjoyed! it was so nice of her to do that and it tasted super good! but afterwards we were sooo full but we still had to go out and do the work so proselyting that day wasn't too good on my stomach lol but it was worth it!

we found a person in nkanfoa who speaks french and his name is james! my companion loves to go and talk with him as much as he can and they get along great but james didn't make it to church yesterday and my comp was a little dissapointed but he that's missionary work! from around 12- 5 the heat from the sun is just killer! it gets so hot during the day and I don't think I have ever sweat so much in my life than I have here on mission!

we are trying to get our members more involved in helping us out with finding new investigators so we asked a lot of the members to bring one of their friends with them to church and to give a random person a book of mormon on the street to keep the work going! we GC'd 100 people this week as an apartment and it was hard work but hopefully we will get a few good investigators from that who are willing to learn more about the gospel!
