Week 18
hey everyone! this week has been very challenging for me! i received my new companion and his name is elder agoua! he is a wonderful elder from ivory coast and he only speaks french! so me and him are slowly learning english together! he is doing pretty good! the lord is pushing me extra hard and i know that he trusts me with this task! he usually just shares his testimony with the investigators and i do all the teaching but his testimony is very good! there are some situations where we have had some miscommunication but its all good!
this week has been very fun! i miss my old companion a ton but i know that he is doing good things in his area! our area is going great and we have found a few more people who are interested in the church and want to learn from us! training is very hard! expecially when i just recently got out of training but its all working out great! some of our investigators werent able to make it to church but they actually had legit reasons on why they couldn't come so that is good! i am hoping that sister comfort will continue to come so we can baptize her! i am very excited for her and her decision to turn to the lord!
i cant believe that christmas is almost here! time is going by way fast here its insane!! soon i will be in my next area proselyting! mission is hard work here and the weather just keeps getting hotter and hotter but its all good! the members in the ward are so helpful with me and my new companion! they are so welcoming and so kind to him its awesome! there are a few things that bother him but i just have to be very patient with him and he will eventually learn! things are super good though and i miss home every day! the food here is nothing like it is back in the USA but the missionary work here is amazing! love you all and dont forget to read your scriptures and say your prayers!! peace out everyone<3
