Week 11

Hello everyone! still miss you all so much but this week has been way cool! me and elder jeppson now have 3 people who are wanting to be baptized and sunday we had 2 of those investigators arrive to church! me and elder jeppson are super excited for them.. anyway my first transfer is just about coming to a close! it was a 9 WEEK transfer! i have no idea why it was so long but i am just super glad to get my first one over. its crazy because it just seemed like i got at the mission home just a few weeks ago and i am already almost done with my first transfer!
Its starting to get super hot here in ghana and the rain is beginning to stop! i miss the rain a ton but i was talking with elder jeppson and apparently this will be the hottest weather i am going to experience in my entire life so wish me luck people! Brother Dadzie that i have been sharing with you guys is just a few more weeks to his baptism and he went to accra the other night and is going to talk with his family about the book of mormon and invite them to church! i cant wait when he gets back to teach him some more but he is a powerful man and me and elder jeppson have alot of faith in him that he will be a strong member in this church! we got our investigator sister ama to finally show up to church this week and it made our lives! we have been struggling to get her to come for the longest time but we finally did it! she is 9 months pregnant so we are very nervous about baptizing her so we are giving her some time and hopefully she will let us know when she feels comfortable about baptism but we are way pumped for her!
and finally our investigator sister comfort who doesn't speak english one bit! its nice having a translator with us while we teach her but we keep it simple and sweet with her lol but she is the sweetest lady and loves coming to church hopefully she will keep up to her date for baptism because she has shown up to church two weeks in a row now!
our investigators are great and one of the elders in our apartment is leaving so we are super bummed out but we will miss him! Elder stephens is being transferred to dunkwa all the way by komasi which is like a 6 hour drive from the mission home but i know he will be a great missionary up there and training will be very good for him! i am very excited to be staying in this area some more! Nkanfoa is a beautiful place! i should be here a few more months because its my first area and all but we really enjoy and love our ward more than anything! first transfer down and 16 more to go! love you all so much and thanks for the support! Ghana is getting hotter and hotter by the day but just know that the missionary work over here is amazing and the people here are still the sweetest! LOVE YOU ALL
