Week 8
this week me and elder jeppson proselyted a ton! this week was also festival week so a lot of people weren't in town so we tried our best to meet with many people as we can but we were only able to meet with a few! we taught a lady named sister ama a lot this week and she is making amazing progress and i really think that she plans on being baptized! she has come to church twice so we will meet with her a few more times and set a date for her to be baptized! i am so excited for sister ama.. she enjoys us teaching her and loves the feeling she gets when we come and teach her!
brother dadzie has been out of town in accra the last couple of days visiting his family so we havent been able to meet with him for a whole 2 weeks!! he comes back tomorrow though so we are so excited to meet with him!
one of our investigators named sister cristy hasn't been in town for that last couple of days and her grandmother doesn't know where she is! so we pray for her each night that she will be safe! we have been stopping by every day so see if she made it home but she still hasn't yet!
i got my 3rd meal from a family in ghana the other night and it was pretty great! the quartson family made us something called yam and egg stew! it was honestly really good! i love this family so much and they are so powerful when they share there testimonies in church! its kind of a bummer having baptisms your first 2 weeks then out of nowhere have your investigators not come to church:( but me and elder jeppson are working hard everyday trying to find new people that we can teach but none of them have really showed any interest so hopefully next week we can find a few more serious investigators to share the gospel with!
anyway thats how my week went! ghana is still amazing and the people here are really generous! love you all so much
