Week 5

Well time really does fly when you're having fun! i can't believe i've been on a mission for almost 2 months now! time is flying like crazy! This week was a powerful week in ghana! no new baptisms lol but alot of amazing experiences.

throughout this week, me and elder jeppson have been WORKIN! walking up and down steep hills and meeting with new investigators daily! we committed a few of our investigators to church and only 2 of them came this sunday! but i could tell they had an amazing experience! One of our investigators is named Dadzie and he really is interested in the church but he has so many questions about our gospel and the book of mormon! he also likes to find anything he can to prove us wrong but he cant! he really likes to argue with us about joseph smith and the book of mormon but our testimonies are so powerful! We really helped dadzie understand how important the book of mormon is. i can tell he is starting to enjoy coming to church! he has so many questions in investigators class its amazing!

Me and elder jeppson also went over to the cape coast castle this week and the view of the ocean was so pretty! loved it so much. The food here isn't getting much better haha its hard for me to enjoy it because it's just so much more different than it is back at home. But i tried my first plate of banku this week and it was the only thing i have like while im here! it was way good!

Hiking is crazy in Nkanfoa which is the area that i proselyte in! there are so many hills and most of our investigators live on them so we hike all day long every day! its way fun but it can get tiring after a while! I love the people here and i am starting to get more familiar with the people in my ward! they are all so great i love each and every one of them! especially the kids here! they always call me and jeppson abrunie which means "white man" in fanti! most of the kids ask for money while the other kids just want a high five! The language here is still hard to ge used to! im still struggling with it but hopefully within a few months i will get the hang of it! miss you all so much and i hope you all are doing amazing back at home! Just know that i love you all so much and love hearing from all of you on how you are doing! Ghana Cape Coast Mission is one for the books! cant wait to see what this week has planned for me! LOVE YOU GUYS
