Week 4
Hey everyone! miss you all so much!! this week has been a busy week! so much has happened in the last 7 days. I am becoming more familiar with my area and all the people in our ward but I am still awful with names! we have been teaching so many investigators throughout the week and I even baptized my second investigator! Her name is Abigail and she is such a sweet girl! her English isn't very good so we had a member come and translate for us! the language most of them speak here in my area is Fanti and I'm picking up quite a few words but it is still stressful because it's really a different language than what I am used to back at home! I have never heard of Fanti before! but anyway, Abigail is only 16 years old and she loves the gospel so much it's incredible! she loves the lessons we teach her and has so many questions for us! the spirit at the baptism was so strong! after she was baptized she looked so happy! even though she can hardly understand me I could tell that she felt the spirit throughout the service!
Just yesterday ELDER RENLUND came to one of the churches in Ghana cape coast and shared a talk with all of the missionaries along with his wife! It was so powerful some of the messages he gave us! talking about how amazing we are for serving a mission and how this mission was chosen for each of us for a purpose! and it is up to us to find out what that purpose is through spiritual revelation. my heart dropped when I shook his hand... I was so hyped! the excitement overcame me entirely when he spoke to me and asked me where I am from! he even knew what high school I went to which was sweet.
Even though it was just a couple of hours with the apostle it was amazing without a doubt! Love missionary work and I can't wait to change more investigators lives in the future and bless their families eternally! Love you all so much and I will email you next week! MUCH LOVE.
