Week 2

Hey everyone!! Week two at the MTC finally over! so much has happened the past few days and I am so blessed to have so many amazing experiences while I'm here!
our investigations are going amazing! we got two new investigators this week and they both have so many questions about this gospel and so many spiritual moments throughout our lessons. Talking about the atonement and how it will bless their lives is so powerful! every time I talk about it I get all emotional for some reason... it's just a topic that I can't control myself on I guess haha I am just so blessed to have the savior in my life and everything he went through so that we all can live with him again! that to me means everything! such a blessing it is to be apart of such an amazing gospel! I love all of the people here! they are all so great! this week I got moved up to senior zone leader so I get the opportunity to be a leader to the elders and sisters in my zone and conduct meetings for them! such a blessing to be apart of such an amazing branch! all of the elders are way cool with me and we all get along so good! a good group of elders for sure! within the last few days a few elders that I became way close with left out into the field so that bummed me out a ton! I've met so many new elders and there are new missionaries coming in every week! and I get the opportunity to conduct a welcome meeting for them and give them all a tour of the campus which is pretty fun!
the spirit is so strong here at the MTC it's honestly amazing! The devotionals and talks that people share are inspiring and entertaining to listen too!

Also, I received my travel plans and I leave this Sunday! it's crazy to think that next time I email all of you I will be in Africa. The MTC is great and all but I would much rather be out teaching the gospel to the people of Ghana.. the Provo temple is so beautiful too! I can see it from where I have my class meetings and interviews! it is so nice to have such an amazing temple so close and so amazing nearby.  My teachers are also amazing!! I don't have any pics with them but I will be sure to take some before I leave so you can see them! Greatest teachers ever without a doubt! we have so much fun in there and I learn something new every single day. It's unbelievable how much stuff I didn't know about the gospel before I came here! The new missionaries who came in yesterday seem great! some of them are really struggling with homesickness and other issues but I get the chance to give them a priesthood blessing and work with them to help them stay .. because this opportunity that we have to serve the Lord and be his missionaries is amazing! I cannot wait to change the lives of the people in Ghana I have heard so many good things about how humble they are and their generosity towards the missionaries! Just 4 more days and I'll be there

I love you all so much and hope that everything back at home is going great! Still got a long way to go but it's a blessing to be out here serving the Lord :)
